High Holiday Appeal 2023

High Holiday Appeal (on Rosh Hashanah) is in the fall to start the new year on a sweet note. Suggested amounts range from $54 to $3600.

Opportunities for Giving

The ALL INCLUSIVE COMMITMENT MODEL is designed so that all members can find a comfortable way to support our Congregation. It is our hope that the circle will grow and embrace all that choose to be a part of Congregation B’nai Jacob.

ALL INCLUSIVE LEVELS OF GIVING:
Tzadikkim (Benefactor) $5,500-$8249 Includes all membership privileges, recognition as a member of the Chai Society, two (2) tickets to all synagogue wide events with recognition as a sponsor, invitation to Chai Society honoree event, and recognition as a supporter in our High Holiday Appeal and Bulletin.

Bonim (Builder) $8250 - $10,999  All of the above plus (2) tickets to all Shabbat dinners throughout the year.

Amudim (Pillar) $11,000 and above  All of the above plus (2) tickets to major fundraising events.

Note: A single adult household member may choose to deduct $1,000 from the above levels of giving.

Chai Society

   

Annual $1,800 donation to B'nai Jacob to be used for special projects. Spending is overseen by the Chai Society committee and the Board of Directors. Anyone can join at any time throughout the year.

Abiding Memorials

Gifts in memory of any person, usually in commemoration of their yahrzeit.  Donate any amount.

General Donations are a nice way to honor, thank, celebrate, or memorialize someone.  The funds support ongoing programming at B'nai Jacob.  Choose from the dropdown menu or write in a specific named family fund in the 'Payment notes' section.

Scrip fundraising is a program that allows families the power to support B'nai Jacob throughout the year, without doing anything more than purchasing gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards.  

 

Sponsor a Kiddush

Celebrate a Simcha!
Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations, Engagements, Baby Namings… all great reasons to sponsor a Kiddush at B’nai Jacob!  Call the office at 203-389-2111 for more information or to book a date.

Advertise your Business
