Yahad is a community Hebrew school, a joint project of Congregations B'nai Jacob and Or Shalom.
Families may enroll a child for up to 2 years through 4th grade without being a member of CBJ.
At Yahad, meaning "together," students form their Jewish identities through amazing experiential programming, while building foundational skills in prayer, Hebrew, Bible and much more. Together, as students, parents, teachers, and as a community, we will create our Jewish future!

Madrichim Progam
This is a great community service opportunity for teens!
YAHAD School provides an opportunity for its graduates who want to stay involved and give back.
This vibrant, committed group of teenagers donate their time, energy, and skills to the school. Their contributions range from clerical, to creative, to educational; and provide a vital role in the success of a typical Sunday school day. At any point of the morning, you may see madrichim doing office work, helping out in the classroom, or simply holding a hand. Each madrich commits to a minimum of 36 hours per year and many far exceed that amount. This program keeps these young congregants connected to B’nai Jacob and to Jewish life. We are very proud of this program and all the young people who call themselves madrichim, past and present.
